Protecting Your Jewellery

Using a soft lint free cloth to clean silver, 18K gold vermeil, 18k gold will keep jewellery looking shiny and tarnish-free.

You should store your Luvbo Jewels in a dark, cool and dry place within the box provided to help reduce tarnishing, scratching and tangling.

Silver is a bendable precious metal, any pressure applied could cause damage. We would advise when transporting that your jewellery is kept within a box so no external pressures is accidentally applied. Storing silver jewellery in a sealed plastic bag or airtight box when it is not being worn will keep out the air that causes oxidation. The oxidation process is also slowed down by wearing your jewellery often. If however your jewellery is stored for long-periods of time, occasional cleaning is recommended to maintain shine and keep oxidation at bay. 

Gold plated silver may fade if the care instructions are not adhered to. Please do not expose gold plated silver to water, perfumes or lotions as this may cause the plating to fade. Gold plated silver may naturally fade over time.

We recommend that you remove jewellery while in water and avoid spraying perfume or applying creams where your jewellery will have contact.

Avoid extreme temperatures, humidity and sunlight. Any contact with perfumes/ cosmetics and chemicals will cause discolouration to semi precious metals. This is not a fault and can be avoided by caring for your jewellery as detailed above.

Caring For Your Gemstones

Gemstones should never be worn around hot water, harsh chemicals and cleaners. You can clean most gemstones with a soft, damp cloth after wearing. Very porous stones such as turquoise and emeralds should be cleaned using an untreated, dry, soft cloth only.

Do not use tissue paper or paper towels to clean as they can cause scratching.

We use natural/lab grown gemstones and natural pearls which may contain internal inclusions, adding to the beauty and uniqueness of each individual gem.

Warranty

We are committed to providing high-quality, handcrafted jewelry made to last. We offer a two-year warranty from the date of original purchase for defects or issues resulting from the workmanship of the jewelry.

Our warranty does not cover lost items, normal wear and tear, including scratches, tarnishing, or fading of metals and gemstones, damage caused by improper care, such as exposure to chemicals, water, or excessive force, or any modification to your product done by a third party outside of Luvbo.

By submitting a warranty claim, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

  1. Return of Impacted Product: If your warranty submission is accepted, you must send the impacted product to us for quality assurance review and testing.

  2. If the item is in stock, and your warranty submission is approved, you will receive a replacement of the same item.

  3. If the item is not in stock due to inventory limitations or discontinuation, you will be issued a store credit equivalent to the purchase price of the original item.

  4. No Refunds or Exchanges: refunds will not be provided nor an exchange for a different item, size or material.

  5. Promotional products: Items received from a promotion or campaign may be excluded from our warranty policy.
